All of our boxes are packed and shipped with love from Virginia. Our standard shipping times are within 5 – 8 business days (in regular seasons) or more depending on holiday seasons. All subscriptions inside the contiguous 48 United States ship free.

Our Pottery Painting Kits are everything you ever wanted from having a "Paint Your Own Pottery" Studio at your home!  The main difference is that anything that needs to be food safe has been glazed and fired before it is shipped to you.  When you paint, you have the option of using a glossy sealer that is not food safe (great for figurines and decorations) or one that is food safe (great for mugs, dishes and bowls).  Please read more below and feel free to click the "Need Help?" tab to send us a question!

• If I don't have a kiln at home, how do we cook the pottery?
  
  Great Question! For the figurines and decorations that we offer that do not need a food safe finish, we offer a brush-on glossy sealer.  No oven or kiln required.
  
  For the pottery that we offer that does need a food safe finish, (ex. our ice cream cup and spoon set) we glaze & fire the parts of the pottery that need to be food safe before they are sent to you! The remaining unglazed portion can be painted with our acrylic paints and finished with the brush-on, glossy sealer provided.
  
  No oven required!
• Do you help us with ideas or information on how to paint?
  
  YES!  Not only do we have a YouTube channel with tutorials on how to paint all of the pieces in each of our monthly kits AND many of the other items offered, we also have an amazing Facebook Community where our family of pottery painters ask questions and post photos of what they've done!  Stephanie, the owner and founder of Pottery Awesomeness, also goes LIVE in the group regularly so to teach tips and tricks on how to paint your pottery!
• Are these kits age appropriate for my "x" year old artist?
  
  Our kits are perfect for all ages.  It is the parents expectations of the results that should be different! We say that they are great for ages 4-74 because we have MANY grandmothers who cherish the time painting WITH their grandkids.  We also have many families with a wide range of ages. Our kits have multiple pieces and this allows the little ones to paint the small items and the bigger kids to paint the more complex pieces.  It's wonderful to have all the kids able to participate in the same art activity at the same time so that everyone can feel the belonging and significance that all kids crave!
• We love crafting but have a hard time getting started.
  
  This is one of the biggest benefits of our kits!  Each box includes everything you need every single month.  No planning, shopping or thinking involved.  Let us do that all of the planning for you and deliver it to your door!  All you have to do is open the box, grab a cup of water and go!  Many of our customers actually use the unfolfded boxes as placemats for painting that can be easily cleaned up and thrown out when complete!
• What if I don't like my box?
  
  We offer a money-back guarantee, no questions ask. If you’re not satisfied with your Pottery Awesomeness kit for any reason, just return it for a full refund or replacement within 30 days. We cannot accept pottery kits that have been used or already painted. If 31 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot accept a return. You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
